Κλειστή λόγω έλλειψης γιατρών η παιδιατρική κλινική μετά την Κοζάνη και στο Μποδοσάκειο Νοσοκομείο ΠτολεμαÀδας. Τα περιστατικά για νοσήλια παραπέμπονται σε γειτονικά νοσοκομεία εκτός της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας όπως είναι στη Βέροια αλλά και σε νοσοκομεία της Θεσσαλονίκης.

Εν τω μεταξύ για πρόβλημα της στελέχωσης και τις προσπάθειες του νοσοκομείου ενημερώθηκε στη διάρκεια επίσκεψης η διοίκηση του εργατικού κέντρου ΠτολεμαÀδας.

Όπως δήλωσε η Αναστασία Μπούρτζου έχουν ήδη προκηρυχθεί 22 θέσεις γιατρών όμως κανείς δεν μπορεί να διαβεβαιώσει πόσες από αυτές τελικά θα καλυφθούν, καθώς πολλοί από τους επιτυχόντες δε αποδέχονται την θέση και επιλέγουν άλλη πόλη και νοσοκομείο ή προτιμούν να ιδιωτεύσουν.
